At the Beach
The Family Epperson
I figure that people who know me, know what I look like. Hence the picture of just the kids.

Another year older and deeper in debt. Starting year 3 now and I'm still learning things. I guess that's why I'm in school.

einstein Expectations and Policies
My expectation is that everyone in my classes will get an A. You can succeed in science if come with an open mind and follow these simple suggestions:

1. Respect everyone in the classroom.
2. Listen - not only to me, but to others in the class when they ask questions.
3. Take notes. See the link to the left for suggestions on good note taking techniques.
4. Ask questions. I tend to assume that silence means understanding.
5. Prepare by doing the homework. As a minimum attempt the work. Homework is practice - we practice to get better - we get better by trying.

In my classes, you will learn more than just science. My main goal is to prepare kids for life, and I do that through problem solving. I spent my entire SRS career solving problems, and nothing is more satisfying than being able to get, find, or create an answer when you either don't know it, or one doesn't exist.

My expectations on myself are to treat all students with respect, dignity, and as responsible adults. I am willing to help as much as necessary - you just need to ask. Also, if you are absent, it will be your responsibility to get any missed assignments from me and do all make-up work promptly.

If you ever have any questions, you can e-mail me or call me at 650-6040 x5842.
