I am looking forward to another great year of exploring U.S. History with my students. I am a graduate of Evans High School and have a Bachelors in History from Augusta College, a Masters in Education and a Specialist Degree from Augusta State University. I have been teaching Social Studies in Columbia County for 14 years and feel very blessed to work in the wonderful community in which my family lives.
The world of secondary education has seen many changes since I began teaching. We will embark on the implementation of the new Georgia Performance Standards in U.S. History this year. I will work very hard to make sure each student understands U.S. History and our nations roll in our ever changing world as they prepare for the Georgia High School Graduation Test, the End Of Course Test in United States History and their futures beyond the halls of Greenbrier High School.
