What We Do:
The Greenbrier High school drama department is proud to represent the diverse interests and values of its students. We feature performances such as student directed plays, theater related field trips, competition plays, Dessert Theater, advanced drama class plays, spring musical, literary competition, and a summer drama camp for kids.
Where We Go
The highlight of each year is the annual trip to the Georgia Thespian Conference. The conference is a two-day event in which students and chaperones participate in numerous theatrical master classes as well as viewing some of the best high school theater in the state.
Who He Is
Mr. Hansen holds his Bachelor and Masters degrees in music from Ithaca College in New York. He is married with two children
Where Are They Now
Many of our past and present students regularly perform with local theatrical companies. Some students even decide to follow a career in the theatrical arts.
How Does It Work
The student board is made up of elected students who design and manage the performance schedule each year.
Why Are We So Successful
Parent boosters is an organization that supports our student events by organizing ticket sales, concessions, and advertising.
