The Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art in downtown Augusta and their new location in Martinez offers workshops and art classes for people of all ages. The School also houses a gallery and a variety of special events.

The Augusta Jewish Community Center offers visual art classes for people of all ages and all religious affiliations.
In addition to their visual art classes, the JCC also offers Dance, Drama and Children's Theatre classes. The JCC also hosts Children's Day Camps during Winter and Summer.
