This web site is designed to assist my second grade students, parents and visitors with current events and studies in our classroom, viewing student work and other related links. It is also used for resources to assist with learning the curriculum.
My goal is to provide a positive fun learning environment where all students can achieve. I provide an atmosphere to express creativity, master the second grade skills, and meet curriculum standards developed by the Columbia County Board of Education.
I am committed to providing an environment in which students can develop a respect of self and others, pursue individual strengths and talents, and acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to be a responsible contributor to our school, community, and class. I make every effort to connect the curriculum with experiences of the real world.
Parents and teachers are partners in a child's education. I hope that parents will always come to me with questions or concerns. It is important that we communicate openly and honestly with one another. Talk to your child about their day and make sure that they are feeling supported, confident and happy. It is the key to a successful year for your child. |
