Have A GREAT Summer! Get outside, run and play, swim, find a good bike trail, get lost in a book...ENJOY being who you are, where you are, and the people around you. |

The Summer Challenge 1) Exercise everyday (Don't forget on Thursday nights at 6:00 and Saturday mornings at 10:00 the, the fitness club meets at Liberty Community Center. This is FREE to all youth not yet in high school.) 2) Get at least 8 hours of rest every night...when the sun comes up you should have already been in bed for six or seven or even eight hours:). 3) Eat a balanced, nutrition driven diet 4) Find a pen pal in a state or country other than Grovetown, Georgia. Write them at least once a week. Remember people who are trying to read what you have written care about how you write, and also assume that is how you talk. 5) Read a book...Surely there is something you are interested in; if so, then there is a book out there for you. 6) Keep a log of how much time you spend on the computer, watching tv, or playing a video game. Are you losing your childhood to any or all of these? How can you let go of these life draining gadgets, and rediscover how much fun actually playing can be? |
