Teacher Schedule

This year is an exciting learning experience for the students and myself. We are involved in collaborative classes. Since the students have two teachers, they have ample opportunities for individualized instruction. My role changes from coach-facilitator to co-teacher depending upon the situation.
The 10th. and 12th. Literature classes are working on book projects and in literary circles. These independent reading assignments will help to increase reading performance and will help to instill a love for reading.
The 12th. grade Literature classes are working on the Senior project.
My philosophy is "success for all". Although we have high expectations for all the students, we provide instructional strategies that help all the students. We constantly monitor student progress, engage the students and use alternative assessments as needed. |
