Classroom Activities Click here for a helpful website! Our students are busy everyday working on IEP objectives, and practicing daily living skills that will help them succeed both inside and outside the classroom. |
 Using Switches |
Daily Schedule 1st period: Adaptive PE (M,W,F), or Walking (T,Th) 2nd period: Work on IEP objectives, daily living skills, fine and gross motor tasks, and communication. 3rd period: Repositioning, range of motion/stretching, Occupational and Physical therapy. Pick up lunch at 10:30. 4th period: Lunch and cleanup. Students have an opportunity to enjoy a leisure activity or rest while teacher and paras have a lunch break. 5th period: Continue IEP objective work 6th period: Fun activity on Friday (art project, cooking, etc.). Cleanup, address personal needs, prepare to go to busses at 2:15. |

Communication is the key! Click here for a great source for communication devices Please give your child every opportunity to communicate at his or her level of ability. I will be happy to work with you on developing picture schedules, sign cards, or locate any other device that gives your child the ability to communicate his or her wants and needs. |
