By continuing to "Chart a Course towards World Class Excellence", the Columbia County School System ("CCSS") believes in the value of exploring what 'stressing the meaningful use of technology' means regarding equitable student access, bolstering student performance, teacher/staff development, and alignment to state and national standards of technology. With the Educational area of our school system serving as the "driver" of technology in the CCSS, the purpose of other technology areas, both Internal and Administrative, are to cooperatively plan and coordinate decision making in support of providing challenging opportunities to meet world-class standards of educational excellence. By doing so, the CCSS will be fulfilling its responsibility to: 'provide all students with equal educational opportunity', 'equip all students with skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a dynamic world', and 'provide every student with the highest educational experience possible'.
