| School is such a new and exciting experience for the young children in kindergarten. During this formative year they learn so many things such as letter names and sounds, the blending of sounds to form words, and the application of sounds in writing and reading. They also work with numbers in various ways like sorting, patterns, graphing, and counting. Many of these skills are taught through exploration and discovery. Various topics like Community Helpers, the Earth's surface, and the Five Senses are explored. All of these skills are monitored by teachers through formal and informal assessments. The G-KAP and the Lexia CRT are given throughout the school year. Meet our staff below. |
