Students of Grovetown High School spoke with Veterans to learn about their service.

good afternoon my name is retired after 43 years of the Telecommunications Warren office I joined the army in 1990 high school at 18 years old and I was in the US Navy from 1969 to 19 72 I joined the Navy on my 19th birthday I was not in a position where I was ready to go to college yet and I wanted to see the world in the Navy offered that off show me the opposite side that I was in the service High School I am Angel didn't hear I mean I was thinking of you better and I'm married to Mommy better I come from the only female that participated in the electronics program in high school or college degree upon retiring from the Army was able to pursue a a good career I need an education in well I was in the navigation department on board a US Destroyer and we spent most of her time in the Mediterranean we sailed from from Spain and end up into the Black Sea are the best friend and if you have family that are best friends thank you to them as well I want to protect whatever I have to remember to pack my phone in my car property I'd have a way of light to me a veteran means someone who is part of the country of someone who has spent time maybe blood to their country different capacities I was in the Navy and I had lots of friends that were in the Air Force the Marines and the Army but it gave me the opportunity to serve my country to to go places where the country needed us if the time during the Cold War for me because that was where we were usually involved in it meant a lot to me when my son went into the service he was in the Air Force the veteran of the US Air Force so there was a lot of things that it meant but it was I served my country
