Open House is an exciting way to begin each school year and to welcome our students back to school. And while this year may look a little different, we are happy to report that the School District will be offering Open House for our students. This year, open houses will be held virtually!
Virtual Open House will allow parents and students to see and hear from their assigned teachers from the comfort of their own homes via recorded video messages, complete with information like class expectations, procedures, important contacts, and more. Access to class schedules will be available via email and the Parent Portal during Virtual Open House. Students will be able to access their teachers’ messages on their respective school websites.
Students who are new to the school district or a school building will have the option to tour their assigned school in person during Open House assigned dates and times listed below. These students include only students new to the district and rising pre-k, kindergarten, sixth, and ninth graders. These students will also want to participate in the Virtual Open House, viewing their teachers’ recorded messages, as only pre-k and kindergarten teachers will be in the buildings during the in-person school tours.
These families who plan to tour the school building are encouraged to follow last name attendance guidelines on their grade level’s assigned dates and times, in an effort to reduce traffic in our school buildings and to allow visitors to maintain safe social distances.

* High School Virtual Open House (including self-guided school tours for ninth graders) – Tuesday, July 28, 2020, from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
* Middle School Virtual Open House (including self-guided school tours for sixth graders) – Wednesday, July 29, 2020, from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
* Elementary School Virtual Open House – Thursday, July 30, 2020, from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
* Pre-K and Kindergarten Open House – July 28 – 31, during school hours and by appointment only
Those select families of new students and students new to the building who plan on touring schools are encouraged to follow the last name attendance guidelines to reduce traffic and allow visitors to maintain safe social distances.

* Families with last names beginning with the letters A-L are encouraged to attend Open House from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. on their assigned dates.
* Families with last names beginning with the letters M-Z are encouraged to wait and attend the second half from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. on their assigned date.
Face coverings must be worn when entering and exiting a school building and at any time when a safe social distance cannot be maintained.
