The 2021 overall District graduation rate showed a .44% increase from last year coming in at 92.33% of students, which is more than eight percent higher average than the state.
Combined, Columbia County seniors successfully ended their high school careers, with the second-highest graduation rate out of twenty-one of the largest school districts in the state with more than 1,000 graduates. Additional congratulations go to Greenbrier High for earning the highest graduation rate in the state for high schools with more than 400 graduates.
The following schools also posted an improved rate from the previous year: Evans High, which saw a 1.35 percent increase; Greenbrier High with a 1.07 percent increase; and Grovetown High which saw an improvement over last year by 2.9 percent.
The Columbia County School District is proud of the hard work of these outstanding students. Congratulations to the Class of 2021, and a special thanks to the parents of these graduates and for the hard work and dedication of our employees across all levels.
