The Promise of CCSD

“The Promise of CCSD” campaign is a means of focusing attention on our students… their future and the promise that lies within each of them; the importance of public education and the role it plays in our community and our nation; and the work of our outstanding schools, teachers, and support staff found right here in Columbia County. Our Promise campaign encompasses the promises the school district makes toward its vision to engage, enrich, and inspire our students, and seeks to unlock the promise within each of us. As part of the campaign, we will focus on the accomplishments of our students and the promise they hold for a bright future. 

Columbia County residents have long realized the importance of strong public schools, recognizing the link between an educated populace and a vital economy. However, it is important that we continue to emphasize public education as one of the pillars of our community. It is imperative that we engage our community in the work of our schools and in our work to deliver on The Promise of the Columbia County School District.
