Title I
Family tips:
Make reading a priority in the home before your child ever starts school. Reading to and with your child for just a few minutes each day results in improved learning outcomes in school.
Children who see others in the family reading on a regular basis are more likely to develop good reading habits.

Title I and School Improvement
Mission:
Title I, Part A is a multi-faceted federal entitlement program designed to "help all children have the opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency on challenging state and academic standards and assessments." We as a district are committed to working with Title I schools in an effort to help them to provide opportunities for at-risk and disadvantaged children to acquire the knowledge and skills in order to meet the challenging state performance standards and assessments developed for all children.
