Young Georgia Authors
The purpose of the Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition is to encourage students to develop writing that represents their best efforts, to provide a context for schools to support and celebrate the writing successes of all students, and to encourage and recognize student achievement in writing throughout Georgia.
For the 2022-2023 school year, the Columbia County School District had four winners at the RESA district level and one student who was named the state-level winner for 9th grade. Congratulations to all of these student authors.
