Livestream of Regularly Scheduled Board of Education Meeting

The Columbia County School District will hold its regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting Tuesday, December 8, 2020, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Columbia County Board of Education office. Meetings will be open to the public with total seats, including the Board Members and Board of Education staff, limited to no more than fifty socially distanced by six feet.

Student band and chorus holiday performances set for Music in the Park!

In conjunction with Christmas in Columbia County, the Columbia County School District presents Music in the Park. CCSD middle and high school band and chorus students will take the stage at Evans Towne Center Park all day long on Saturday, December 5 from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.! On Sunday, December 6, the Lakeside High Chorus will perform at the Christmas Tree Lighting.

North Columbia Elementary Resource Officer Historic RISE Award Winner

North Columbia Elementary School Resource Officer Lee Peck was one of two public-school employees in the state of Georgia named the winners of first-ever Georgia Recognizing Inspirational School Employees (RISE) Award, which honors classified school employees. Officer Peck is one of two who will be submitted as Georgia’s nominees for the national RISE Award.
