News & Announcements

School District closed through April 24, 2020

The Columbia County School District will remain closed through April 24, 2020, in compliance with the executive order issued by Governor Brian Kemp. Unless otherwise announced, students should plan to return to school Monday, April 27, 2020. With the exception of Spring Break week, April 6 – 13, Learn from Home activities will continue during this extended shutdown.

In addition, we will continue to provide school lunches up to Spring Break. After Spring Break, our food site distribution schedule will resume starting Wednesday, April 15, 2020. At that time, we will begin serving grab and go breakfasts and lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Mondays and Wednesdays we will provide breakfasts and lunches for the following days. This schedule will provide meals for every day of each week while reducing the number of times our families have to pick up their meals. We will continue with our Monday and Wednesday drop off service to those families in need.
