Parkway Elementary Students Marisol Macias, Alex Salinas and Kaidan Bryant represented their school Beta Club in presenting the Blue Goose Georgia War Veterans' Nursing Home with several boxes of personal care items.
The need is great for the specific products, so the club joined together to collect items at the school throughout the months of March and April.
Club advisors Ms. Kamariotis and Ms. Hromyak said they were very proud of all of Parkway for contributing to the service project.
The students presented the items in person and enjoyed engaging with the residents. The veterans are truly an inspiration and have so many incredible stories to share, we wanted to give back to them and thank them for their service.
