Our Students Inspire Us…They Are Our Future and Our Purpose!
In the Columbia County School District, our students are at the heart of everything we do and every decision we make. Our five-year strategic plan focuses on the work we must do as a school district to ensure our students are successful and that they are engaged, enriched, and inspired by the education they receive in our schools. As a result, CCSD is laser-focused on maximizing achievement and success for every student. In fact, that is a top goal in our district’s strategic plan, one of five designed to help us attain our vision and accomplish our mission.
This focus is making a difference in our students’ lives and in their futures. CCSD students are thriving! Evidence of their engagement is evident every day in our classrooms, where they benefit from our rigorous curriculum and high-quality instruction in each grade level and content area. We see it in their faces during those light-bulb moments as they master skills, understand core concepts, and grow. They are enriched by the many opportunities and programs available to them in our schools and in our community. As a result, they excel in the classroom, in extracurricular activities and athletics, and as leaders.
And while we strive to inspire our students, we find they inspire us with all that they know and can do, and in their dreams for what they hope to accomplish beyond the classroom.

As part of CCSD’s Inspire campaign, the school district is focusing on our students. This month, we are reminded that students are our purpose and their success is at the heart of the school district’s mission and all that we do.
