Don't miss this free event for parents of Special Education Students in the Columbia County School District! The event will take place Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Evans Middle School. Engage with a variety of vendors, choose from mini-breakout sessions and learn about all the resources available in our school district as well as across the county and the CSRA! hi I'm Terry Pettyjohn the director of special education for Columbia County and I'm Latoya rope with a parent Mentor for the Special Services Department in Columbia County so excited about our very first special education parent resource expo here in Columbia County or event roll it will occur on January 31st from 5 to 8 p.m. at Evans Middle School are so excited to be able to provide this event for our parents are family than those Community who have students or children with special needs will have you have over 20 fenders that are coming out for our special parents resource night and will have booths available for you to actually go up and talk to those vendors will also have some stations available you'll actually be able to go in their hands on and acts as many questions and get details regarding the resources that those agencies providing have all kinds of resources there folks that you can talk to about what's going on in the classroom with your students and how you help your children at home as well as resources from all over the CSRA this is the first time we're doing this and we hope it'll benefit you a lot we're looking forward to a great turnout and we hope to see you there
