The CCSD Academic Curriculum for Excellence (ACE)
The Academic Curriculum for Excellence (ACE) is used by educators in the Columbia County School District to provide high-quality instruction for each grade level and content area. The ACE contains content area standards, guidance for aligned resources, assessment tools, and guidelines used by Columbia County School District teachers to ensure that each student receives rigorous instruction on the grade level and content area standards.
ACE Scope and Sequence
The Columbia County School District ACE Scope and Sequence are created, periodically reviewed, and adjusted by teams of teachers within the district. This resource indicates when units of instruction and ACE standards are addressed throughout the school year across content areas and grade levels. The ACE Scope and Sequence help teachers breakdown the standards and pace instruction to ensure that students are able to achieve mastery of the grade level standards over the course of the year.
