welcome to the Columbia County School District child abuse training because you see children on a daily basis you are in a unique position to identify possible child abuse cases we have five School social workers that support fan in our district every day they are always available to answer any question you may have asked your administrator Which social worker is assigned to your school because of your unique role in our district it is important that you know you will responsibility be able to recognize the types of abuse and neglect know how child might disclose and how to make a report so let's get started a mandated reporter is a person required by law to report espectador no child abuse neglect or exploitation failure to report could result in criminal charges mandated reporters are individuals who frequently have contact with children whether you are in a class the lunchroom are in a bus you could be the first adult to see signs of child abuse or neglect under Georgia law all of
