A new dual enrollment program was launched on May 3 by Columbia County School District (CCSD) and Augusta University (AU). The program brings AU instructors to all five CCSD high school campuses to teach one college-level course a semester. This not only overcomes transportation and time hurdles for students but enables them to be in a familiar environment and access existing student support such as their high school counselors. Credits earned will transfer to any university or technical school in Georgia.
