Teacher Key Effectiveness System (TKES)
Students have the greatest chance to succeed when teachers receive support to continuously improve their knowledge and skills. Ongoing feedback and targeted professional development help teachers meet the changing needs of their students. TKES provides teachers with meaningful information about how their practice and performance impact student learning. TKES acknowledges teachers’ central role and allows them to refine their practice to continually and effectively meet the needs of all students. Annual training and state credentialing is provided to support teachers and leaders.
